Solaricity brings to you 75 years of combined experience in business and electrical. We have taken the time and care to learn our trade and learn the industry before setting out on the important task of repowering Ontario.

Rob Ellis - President
Rob is a Master Electrician who will over see the installation and test your system to ensure it is functioning to its peak performance. An electrician for over 35 years, Rob has the training and expertise to ensure that your job is done right.

Doug Lata - V.P. Business Development
With 20 years experience, his first priority is making sure you, the customer, are satisfied. Certified through CanSIA and the Seneca Center for the Built Environment as a Photovoltaic Technician, Doug will assess your requirements and provide you with answers to any questions you might have in a clear and concise manner.

Rich Lata - Project Logistics
Rich comes to us with 20 years of technical background and his forte is numbers. Designing systems that meet your needs and delivering top performance is his number one priority. Also a graduate of the Certified Photovoltaic Technician course at Seneca College, Rich has the know how to get the job sized and delivered on time and on spec.

What We Do

At Solaricity our focus is on Grid-tied residential micro generation. We believe that each and every roof has the potential to provide the grid with its own amount of electricity through the use of solar panels. Given enough rooftop systems installed, the need for coal-fired electricity during those hot sunny days of summer can be minimized or eliminated.

Solaricity will come to your home and evaluate your roof and assess whether it is suitable for solar panels. Once we have your roof dimensions and pitch we can start to design a system tailored to your home. We will deal with all aspects of your installation including any contract work that may be required from you Local Distribution Company as well as deal with the Ontario Power Authority to set up a Feed-in Tariff contract.

After your system has been installed and tested to ensure it is working properly, Solaricity can provide annual, semi-annual and quarterly check-up and tune-up services. Depending on the system and the individual homeowner, you can just sit back and collect the sunshine right into your wallet.
